The measures, including the increase in teaching norms, have a significant impact on schools, but do not substantially contribute to adjusting the budget deficit. In the context of the criticisms from the Minister of Education, Daniel David, who contests the evaluations of the Fiscal Council, the analysis highlights the need for structural reforms for an effective correction of the fiscal system.
