The Minister of Finance, Alexandru Nazare, stated that the economic relaunch program, planned to take place until 2032, will include a series of schemes aimed at supporting entrepreneurs. This program has a total budget of approximately 5 billion euros, which will be used to stimulate the economy and encourage business development. Through these measures, the government aims to provide a favorable framework for entrepreneurs, facilitating access to financing and necessary resources for growth and innovation in the private sector.

“This economic relaunch package is very important because it does not only target the year 2026; it demonstrates that Romania has a vision regarding how it wants to finance certain strategic areas. First of all, Romania is changing the way it attracts foreign investments, creating instruments to attract investments of over 200 million euros; we did not have such instruments. We have created a scheme for strategic projects, where large investors, who come and need to make a decision, can come to Poland, come to Hungary, come to Bulgaria, come to Romania, to have this menu of strategic investments where you can discuss in real time with an investor and offer them certain things – a tax credit, part grant, facilities for localization. It is not only focused on foreign investors. Domestic investors can also apply for this scheme. In total, all these schemes, until 2032, amount to approximately 5 billion euros,” said the Minister of Finance on TVR INFO.
