Stock market declines on the Bucharest Stock Exchange: which companies have the largest losses

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, decreased by 0.56%, reaching 27,877.98 points, while BET-Plus, which reflects the evolution of the most liquid 43 stocks, recorded a decline of 0.57%.


The BET-XT index, of the most liquid 25 titles, noted a decline of 0.55%, while BET-FI, the SIF index, depreciated by 0.15%.


Additionally, BET-BK closed down by 0.27%, and BET-NG, which measures energy companies, lost 0.43%.


The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 32.4 million lei, followed by OMV Petrom and Hidroelectrica.


The best performances were recorded by Romcab (+9.27%), Șantierul Naval Orșova (+3.61%) and Erste Group Bank (+3.55%), while the largest declines were noted by Energopetrol (-15%), Societatea de Construcții Napoca (-14.17%) and Uztel (-13.01%).
