The BVB concluded Wednesday's session on a positive note, with the main indices recording an increase of over 1%, despite the political crisis generated by the PSD vote to withdraw support for Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan. Vivien Ciuhan, a financial analyst at Investimental, explains this evolution through a combination of factors. Firstly, a technical rebound is observed after a decline of nearly 4% in the last three sessions due to profit-taking and political instability.

Additionally, local investors may take advantage of price corrections to position themselves favorably before the distribution of dividends by companies listed on the BVB. Ciuhan emphasizes that the attractive dividend yields support demand for shares, reducing volatility. Furthermore, investors seem to be more optimistic regarding the external context, especially due to the extension of the ceasefire between the United States and Iran, which alleviates immediate risks. Even though negotiations are stalled, investors are focusing on the positive financial results expected for American companies in the first quarter.
