The Ministry of Energy has asked the government for 270 million lei from the proceeds from the sale of emission allowances to cover miners' salaries and the Miner's Day bonus. Complex Energetic Energetic Valea Jiului has received 606 million lei in state aid for 2023, but so far only 186 million lei have been allocated. Eduard Mija, director of CEVJ, said that although the salaries have been paid, there is a gap of 150 million lei uncovered by the end of the year.
