The gross domestic product in the second quarter of 2026 remained unchanged in real terms compared to the first quarter of 2026, but recorded a decrease of 0.4% compared to the same quarter of 2025.

"The gross domestic product recorded a decrease of 0.4% compared to the same quarter of 2025 on the gross series and 2.0% on the seasonally adjusted series. In the first half of 2026, the gross domestic product decreased by 0.8% compared to the first half of 2025 on the gross series and by 1.6% on the seasonally adjusted series," shows INS in a press release.
