Approximately 3.5 million households are facing additional expenses of 30% for wood this winter. Compared to last year, the cost of wood has increased by 1,000 lei for a 100 sqm house. Romanians are making drastic savings, and wood prices vary between 100 and 380 lei per cubic meter, depending on conditions and type.
