Fuel prices continue to rise: three price increases at the pump in the last week

In October, there were five price increases, and last week, market leaders applied increases of 0.04 bani per liter. For example, on November 3, diesel cost 7.81 lei per liter, while gasoline was 7.54 lei. Compared to five years ago, prices have increased significantly, by approximately 132 lei more for a full tank of gasoline and nearly 140 lei for diesel. Starting January 1, 2025, excise duties will be updated, which will lead to an additional increase of approximately 0.30 bani per liter of fuel.
