The furniture industry in Romania recorded a growth of 16.7% in the first half of 2025, with the majority of production intended for export. Although Romanian furniture is gaining popularity in countries such as Germany and France, Romanians often choose products from China or Poland due to prices. Manufacturers emphasize sustainability and authentic design, and current trends include the use of solid wood. Romania ranks 11th in the world and 6th in Europe in terms of furniture exports.
