The Prime Minister of Romania, Ilie Bolojan, had a meeting on Tuesday with representatives of OMV Petrom, focused on the status of the Neptun Deep project and the company's investment plans. OMV Petrom confirmed its commitment to invest in Romania, including in renewable energy and biofuels, thus contributing to the energy security of the country. The discussions also included the expansion of offshore exploration in the Black Sea, as well as the execution of the ANACONDA-1 drilling. Bolojan emphasized the importance of a solid partnership and proposed that environmental responsibilities be assumed by the operator. The need for a stable fiscal framework for long-term investments was also mentioned. The meeting concluded with an agreement to continue the dialogue to advance energy projects for the benefit of the economy and citizens.
