In the period from January 1 to July 31, 2025, Romania recorded primary energy resources of 19,290.4 thousand toe, with an increase compared to the previous year. Domestic production decreased by 4% to 9,543.8 thousand toe, while imports increased by 13%. Electricity totaled 40,335.7 million kWh, with an overall increase, although production from hydropower plants decreased significantly. Final electricity consumption increased by 0.1%, and exports rose by 1,558.7 million kWh.
