Oil imports increased by 21.4% in the first seven months, while natural gas production will decrease annually by 2.5% until 2027.

In the first seven months, oil imports reached 5.143 million tons of oil equivalent, 906,500 tons more than in the same period last year. According to CNSP forecasts, natural gas production will gradually decrease, estimated at 2.74 million tons of oil equivalent in 2025, 2.68 million tons in 2026, and 2.63 million tons in 2027. In contrast, natural gas imports will increase, reaching 7.8 million tons of oil equivalent in 2027.
