Cseke Attila, Minister of Development, said that funding for projects under the NRRP will continue for those that are underway, i.e. investments where contractors are already on site. Funding will be stopped only for the 773 contracts that have not started work and have not settled anything, representing 13% of the total. These measures are necessary to avoid pressure on the state budget, given the deadline for projects to be completed by August 2026.
