As part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), Romania has committed to creating 4,500 places for preschoolers, and so far, 3,220 places in kindergartens have been established, representing almost three-quarters of the set objective. Minister Cseke Attila emphasized the importance of the year 2026 for development projects funded through PNRR.
Recently, a kindergarten was inaugurated in Lugoj, which will accommodate 110 children and is equipped with modern facilities, including solar panels and surveillance systems. It is certified nZEB, having an energy-efficient consumption from renewable sources. The site includes green spaces and a playground accessible to children with disabilities. The total value of the investment amounts to 18.3 million lei, funded by the Ministry of Development.
