The National Trade Union Bloc (BNS) believes that the current government could repeat the mistakes of the 2011 reform, which had negative effects on the labor market. The BNS has gone on alert because of plans to amend the Labor Code, pointing out that Romania already has legislation favorable to employers. The trade unionists demand a real social dialog and respect for employees' rights, rejecting any attempt to reduce the rights in collective bargaining agreements. BNS will monitor government decisions and prepare protest actions if the dialog is not respected.
