The project aims to expand Mihail Kogălniceanu air base, located near Constanta, and will include the construction of new runways and administrative and social facilities. The total value of the project is about 12.173 billion lei and completion is estimated to take about 20 years. The project will be realized in four phases, and the first phase has a total allocated value of about 2.148 billion lei.
