The Ministry of Transport has announced that the remaining projects in the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) will be financed 100% from European funds, including the Focșani - Pașcani stretches and the Margina - Holdea tunnels. Financial adjustments due to price increases will be covered by EU funds. Projects excluded from the PNRR will not require reimbursement for the amounts already spent. Continued funding will come from the Transport Program 2021-2027 or other sources agreed with the European Commission.
