In Romania, the prices of Romanian fuels are high, with a liter of standard gasoline costing 8.62 lei and standard diesel at 9.18 lei, according to data from June 27. In Cluj-Napoca, some stations sell diesel at 9.09 lei/liter, while LPG is sold at 4.55 lei/liter. Premium fuels exceed 9 lei, with premium gasoline at 9.1 lei and premium diesel at 9.95 lei/liter. Although the price of Brent oil fell below 74 dollars per barrel on Wednesday, the geopolitical risk premium continues to influence energy markets. Recently, the US carried out strikes on Iranian targets, which could affect the future price of oil. Iran considers control over the Strait of Hormuz essential in international negotiations, and the Revolutionary Guards have warned that the safety of vessels will only be guaranteed on declared routes.
