The British company GSK has announced that it will allocate 30 billion dollars for research and production in the USA over the next five years, during President Trump's state visit. Of this amount, 1.2 billion will be dedicated to advanced technologies and the modernization of factories. This decision comes in the context of the Trump administration's pressures for increasing local production and reducing drug prices. GSK will build a new production unit in Pennsylvania and will invest in the supply chain and the development of new drugs.
