Stellantis has appointed Gilles Vidal as design director for its European brands, in charge of coordinating design strategy for Peugeot, Fiat, Citroën and Opel.

Gilles Vidal, known for his contributions to the renewal of the Renault range, will take over as design director at Stellantis, coordinating design for the Peugeot, Fiat, Citroën and Opel brands. With 25 years' experience in the industry, Vidal was instrumental in the success of the Peugeot 3008 SUV and Renault's design relaunch. He will replace Jean-Pierre Ploué in October, tasked with redefining the brand's identity and effectively managing the company's expanded portfolio.
