Karina Pavăl, considered the heiress of Dedeman, has prepared the offer for the acquisition of Carrefour stores in Romania, which are available for sale. Carrefour, present in the Romanian market for 21 years, has hired an investment bank to assess buyer interest, in the context of its intention to exit Central and Eastern Europe. Dedeman, owned by the Pavăl brothers, recently made a significant acquisition, buying the Praktiker Hellas chain in Greece for 120-130 million euros. Currently, Dedeman operates 65 stores in Romania and continues to expand, with an estimated net profit of 1.6 billion lei for 2024. The Pavăl brothers are also involved in the real estate sector, with investments of over 800 million euros.
