The three-month ROBOR index has decreased to 5.98% per year, while those for six and twelve months have dropped to 6.09% and 6.27%, respectively.

The National Bank of Romania (BNR) announced a decrease in the three-month ROBOR index, which reached 5.98% per year, compared to 6% in the previous meeting. At the beginning of last year, this index was 5.92%. Additionally, the six-month ROBOR index dropped to 6.09% from 6.11%, while the 12-month index decreased to 6.27%, compared to 6.29% recorded on Friday. Furthermore, the reference index for consumer loans (IRCC), established by Emergency Ordinance 19/2019, is 5.68% per year, calculated as the average of daily interest rates from the third quarter of 2025, according to BNR data. These changes may influence the costs of consumer and mortgage loans in lei.
