According to Counterpoint Research, Apple recorded a 19% share of the global smartphone market in Q1 2025, despite declines in the US, Europe and China. Strong demand for the iPhone 16e boosted sales in emerging markets such as Japan and India. Although the global market grew at 3% annually, analysts forecast a slight market contraction for the full year 2025 due to economic uncertainties and tariffs.
