The 3-month ROBOR index fell to 5.58%, the lowest in two years and the NBR cut interest rates for the second consecutive time.

ROBOR is important because it influences interest rates on most loans in lei. The NBR warned of high uncertainties and risks due to fiscal policy. The benchmark index for consumer credit (IRCC) fell to 5.86% between July 1 and September 31.
