Two Romanians were caught by the police while trying to steal clothes from a container of used textiles in Germany.

On the night of April 19, 2026, two 22-year-old Romanians were caught trying to steal clothes from a container of used textiles on Warmsdorfstraße street in Neumünster, Germany. The police were alerted by a witness who observed the suspicious activity.

Upon the arrival of the officers, one of the suspects was next to the container, while the other was trapped inside. To free him, the police used a cutting tool to cut the container.

After being interrogated at Police Station 1, the two were released. Shortly after, around 2:30 AM, the police were alerted again about the same individuals attempting to steal from another container. They were found nearby and, after checks, were allowed to leave. A criminal case was opened against them for attempted theft.
