Two Romanian workers, aged 45 and 24, suffered serious injuries after the scaffolding they were using to renovate the facade of a building collapsed on Via dei Colli Portuensi in Rome, on Tuesday afternoon, around 2:30 PM. The two fell from the fourth floor and were immediately transported to the hospital, one being taken to San Camillo, and the other to Aurelia Hospital.
Two ambulance crews, as well as officers from the Monteverde police station, forensic police, and technicians from the labor inspectorate, intervened at the scene, investigating the circumstances of the accident. Authorities are trying to determine exactly how the incident occurred, considering the seriousness of the situation.
