Octav Stroici was released at local time 23:00, almost twelve hours after a section of the Torre dei Conti, located at the edge of the famous Roman Forum and near the Colosseum, collapsed and trapped him under the rubble. His heart stopped in the ambulance, and the doctors at the hospital he was urgently transported to were unable to save him.
