The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is warning Romanian citizens that demonstrations announced for Tuesday, November 3, could cause traffic disruptions in several areas of Brussels, particularly in the European Quarter and near Gare du Nord station.
The warning applies both to Romanians who live in or are temporarily in Belgium and to those transiting the country or planning trips to the Belgian capital. Depending on the scale of the protests and the measures taken by local authorities, traffic could be affected by delays or temporary restrictions in areas where the demonstrations will take place.
The Foreign Ministry recommends planning trips in advance and checking official information before departure. For updated information on travel conditions and any changes to traffic, citizens are advised to consult the websites of the Embassy of Romania in Brussels and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the “Travel Informed” app.
Romanian authorities specify that the warning concerns Tuesday and that no general travel restrictions have been announced in Belgium. Romanians who need assistance can request consular support through the Embassy of Romania in Brussels.
