The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is warning Romanian citizens who are in, transiting, or planning to travel to Serbia that several public events will take place in Belgrade on October 22. These events will lead to restrictions on road traffic, the closure of major thoroughfares, and changes to public transport routes.

The measures will particularly affect the Novi Beograd, Arena, Rajko Mitić Stadium, and Slavija Square areas. According to the Foreign Ministry, road users should expect congestion and delays, while the authorities recommend avoiding crowded areas and planning trips in advance.

Romanian citizens are advised to follow announcements from the local authorities and information published by the Embassy of Romania in Belgrade and the Foreign Ministry. For consular assistance, they may call +381 11 36 70 361 and +381 11 36 70 798. In urgent situations, the number +381 63 319 425 is available.

Additional information can be found on the belgrad.mae.ro and mae.ro websites, as well as in the “Travel Informed” app.
