An 18-year-old girl from Bistrița-Năsăud County was detained for 24 hours on charges of fraud after she ordered clothes online worth nearly 20,000 lei but refused to pay for them, claiming they did not fit her, nor would she return them.

The incident was reported by a woman from Alba Iulia, who sold the items through a social network. The police opened a criminal case and identified the girl, who received the clothes on December 16, 2025. After the investigation began, the girl returned the goods, and the police conducted a search at her home, where they also found other clothing items. The goods were returned to the aggrieved woman, and the investigations are ongoing.
