Meteorologists have issued a yellow wind warning for Thursday, valid between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM, in most of Muntenia and the southeast of Oltenia. The wind will reach speeds of 50–65 km/h, and on Friday the warning will be restricted to the western regions, while from Friday night until Saturday evening, it will affect the eastern regions, with speeds of 40–50 km/h.
In the mountains, gusts will reach 70–80 km/h, affecting the counties of Olt, Argeș, Teleorman, Dâmbovița, Giurgiu, Ilfov, Prahova, Buzău, Ialomița, Călărași, and Bucharest.
Another yellow warning is in effect until 6:00 PM, bringing significant rainfall, snowfall at altitudes over 1800 m, and a snow layer in Oltenia, Muntenia, Dobrogea, Moldova, and the south and east of Transylvania. The rains will be accompanied by electrical discharges and hail conditions, with water quantities reaching 20–30 l/m², isolated up to 40–60 l/m². In the Southern and Eastern Carpathians, at high altitudes, a snow layer of 10–20 cm will accumulate.
