Bogdan Sticlosu, the president of the National Integrity Agency (ANI), stated that 122 individuals are targeted by the "Fritz" amendment, which imposes a 3-year ban after the termination of a mandate or public office.
Bogdan Sticlosu emphasized the importance of communication focused on integrity risks, instead of focusing on individuals. Currently, 47 of the 122 individuals have asset and interest declarations, and the Agency continues to analyze them, the ANI president further stated.
Additionally, according to him, 15 individuals have been released from their positions, occupying 16 positions.
Sticlosu highlighted that the ANI evaluation is not based on political affiliation, but on compliance with integrity legislation.
We remind that the CCR ruled on Monday that it is constitutional the amendment that targets the mayor of Timișoara, USR leader Dominic Fritz, regarding the automatic termination of public office 30 days after the law on incompatibility comes into force.
