The works on the bypass road of the city of Buftea, Ilfov County, have entered a new phase, with the beginning of asphalt laying on the road body. The project has reached a physical execution stage of 34%, according to the announcement by the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Transport, Irinel Ionel Scrioșteanu. Approximately 300 workers and 175 machines are mobilized on the site, and the works are progressing according to the established schedule. The bypass will have a length of 5.7 kilometers, with two lanes in each direction, separating local traffic from transit traffic and contributing to the decongestion of circulation. The route starts from DN1A and returns to the same road at kilometer 21+700. The bypass includes three road passages, with advanced works at the passage over the railway and DJ101 Corbeanca - Buftea. Additionally, works are underway to divert the Transgaz network for the passage over Aviației Street. The Secretary of State has requested priority for the works in the area of the common road junction. The Buftea bypass is part of a larger package of investments in road infrastructure in the northern part of the Capital.
