Two workers employed by the Turkish association Mapa-Cengiz were surprised by the collapse of a soil bank in the locality of Boița. The Sibiu County Ambulance Service intervened quickly with two teams, and the victims, a 21-year-old man and a 50-year-old man, suffered severe spinal and limb injuries.
The 21-year-old was found unconscious but was stabilized through emergency medical maneuvers. After receiving first aid, both workers were transported conscious to the Sibiu Emergency Reception Unit for further investigations.
