ANSVSA: A type of wet food for cats is being recalled from sale due to the detection of blue plastic fibers.

The Dutch supplier Partner in Pet Food NL BV has announced the withdrawal from the market of the product "Coshida Selection Wet food for cats, pieces in jelly, with liver and beef 405g", with expiration dates 02/04/2028 and 03/04/2028.

The withdrawal was communicated on Tuesday on the ANSVSA website, after blue plastic fibers were discovered in the product during quality checks. Authorities recommend that customers do not offer this product to their animals and comply with the withdrawal. The affected wet food was sold in Lidl Romania stores, and customers can return the product to any Lidl store for a refund, even without a receipt. The manufacturer emphasized that other products from the "Coshida Selection" brand are not affected by this recall.
