The National Cyber Security Directorate warns of new fraud attempts, in which summonses are sent on behalf of authorities such as Interpol, Europol or the Romanian Police. These messages are being sent from unknown or suspicious sources and use various pretexts to excite and frighten potential victims in an attempt to obtain compromising details or sensitive data. DNSC recommends vigilance and careful analysis of incoming messages.
