Vlad Voiculescu, the president of USR Bucharest, criticizes PSD for the lack of an agreement regarding the date of the elections for the Capital City Hall, emphasizing that the elections must take place according to the legislation, within 90 days from the vacancy of the position. He accuses PSD of "political terrorism" for blocking the right of Bucharest residents to choose their mayor, mentioning that 129 days have passed since Nicușor Dan's resignation. The Prime Minister must set the date for the elections, and Ilie Bolojan suggests that they could take place either in the fall or in the spring of next year, but require a consensus in the governing coalition.
