Vlad Voiculescu, USR MEP and former Minister of Health, stated, after his appointment as honorary advisor to President Nicușor Dan, that he will treat this role as a "real responsibility, not just a symbolic gesture." Voiculescu emphasized that there is a "mutual trust, earned over time" between him and Nicușor Dan and that he wishes to actively contribute to presidential projects, in a system that "changes slowly."
At the same time, he specified that the position of honorary advisor is unpaid and has no executive component, and in parallel, he will continue to lead the USR Bucharest organization and exercise his mandate as an MEP, focusing on the field of health and the modernization of institutions in Romania.
