The back and forth started on Facebook, when Victoria Stoiciu criticized the changes in Education, claiming that they will severely affect students from poor families and that teachers will be overburdened. Ciprian Ciucu reacted, saying that her attacks were populist and that both parties contributed to the deterioration of the budget. Stoiciu replied that education should not be sacrificed because of political issues and suggested that a new Minister of Education was needed.
