On Friday, August 29, firefighters intervened to extinguish a vegetation fire in the locality of Glina, Ilfov, which affected approximately 5 hectares. The fire, caused by dry vegetation, tires, and other waste, posed a significant risk of spreading to homes. ISU Bucharest-Ilfov alerted 14 fire trucks for extinguishing. Additionally, traffic on the Bucharest Ring Road was halted in the area of the fire, with an estimated reopening around 4:30 PM.
