In Galați, 104 pensioners receive pensions of only 1 leu, while a former magistrate benefits from the highest pension, of 45,048 lei

The Galați County Pension House reported that 104 people have pensions of 1 leu, most of whom are disability pensioners receiving the minimum guaranteed pension. In contrast, the highest pension in Galați is 45,048 lei. Out of the total number of pensioners, 24,360 receive social allowances of up to 1,280 lei, while 75,696 have pensions below 3,000 lei. Almost 500 people benefit from pensions of over 10,000 lei per month.
