The president of USR, Dominic Fritz, stated that his party will support any governmental form that ensures the continuation of the reform of the Romanian state. During a meeting of the USR parliamentary group, a unanimous vote was cast for the continuation of collaboration in the current government, even in the event that PSD withdraws.

Fritz emphasized that the support for Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan is not temporary, but is based on USR's commitment to combat corruption and improve the lives of Romanians. He anticipated that PSD will withdraw its people from the government, asking them to take responsibility for previous decisions. Additionally, Fritz reiterated that USR will not accept to be a mere supporter of a reconstruction of the Ciolacu-Ciucă government. Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan confirmed that PNL will collaborate with USR and other parliamentary groups to form a minority government, excluding collaboration with PSD.
