UniCredit Bank will take over investment services from Alpha Bank Romania as of August 15, 2025, and AlphaTrade will become UCBrokerage.

As of August 15, 2025, UniCredit Bank will take over all financial investment services from Alpha Bank Romania, and AlphaTrade will be renamed UCBrokerage. Customer portfolio migration will take place between August 15 and August 17, 2025, and investment accounts will be available from August 18. Customers will be informed about the new IBAN codes and will receive assistance during the transition process. The merger between the two banks will create a stronger financial institution with enhanced services and technology.
