<p>In May 2025, the unemployment rate in Bucharest reached 0.61%, down from 0.62% in April. The AMOFM reported 7,745 unemployed, of which 1,538 receive unemployment benefits. Most of the unemployed have a high school education (38.23%), followed by those with higher education (26.25%). The age structure shows that most of the unemployed are between 30-39 years old, while the employability profile shows 1,256 very difficult to employ.
