An aunt and her niece were injured by a fallen tree on a street in Sector 2 and taken to hospital for treatment.

On Monday, two women were injured after a tree collapsed on a street in Sector 2 while waiting for a car on the sidewalk. The victims, an aunt and a niece, suffered head trauma; the aunt sustained minor injuries while the niece suffered a 3 cm wound. Both were transported to hospital but were not hospitalized. The incident also damaged a parked car. Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident, in the context of an unstable weather warning in Bucharest.
