<p>On Thursday, two women were discovered dead in the Danube-Black Sea Canal, within minutes of each other, one in Cernavodă and the other in Medgidia. Police in Cernavodă were alerted at 12:10 about the body of a 49-year-old woman, missing since April. Shortly after, around 12:30, the body of a 53-year-old woman was also reported near Medgidia. Authorities are investigating to clarify the circumstances of the deaths.
