A corpse was found in the area of the resort Costinești. The police have opened an investigation to establish the identity of the victim and the circumstances of the death.

On August 29, around 7:00 PM, the police in Mangalia was alerted via a 112 call regarding the discovery of a corpse in the sea, in the Costinești area.

Police teams have isolated the perimeter to gather initial evidence, and detectives have begun investigations at the scene.

The lifeless body was transported to the morgue for an autopsy, and forensic doctors will determine the exact cause of death.

At the same time, police are investigating the circumstances under which the person ended up in the water. Representatives

of the Constanța County Police Inspectorate have confirmed the ongoing investigation and the continuation of inquiries to establish the victim's identity and relevant details about the incident.
