Salvamont Prahova announced that the two tourists were evacuated with the help of an SMURD helicopter from Târgu Mureș, which intervened in the early hours of the morning. The two were found in a hard-to-access area in the Coștilei Dry Valley, under the Colțul Mălinului, and were safely transported to the Rescue Base at 1400 meters above sea level.
