On Sunday, on DN1C, the crew of the helicopter monitoring road traffic intervened to stop two drivers who ignored traffic rules. A 50-year-old man from Maramureș County made four illegal overtakes in just four minutes, between the localities of Livada and Bunești, demonstrating irresponsible behavior.

Another driver, a 59-year-old man from Satu Mare County, was detected in the Coplean area making three similar overtakes. Due to the dangerous behavior of the first driver, the air crew decided to intervene, summoning him through the helicopter's acoustic system. As a result, the 50-year-old man was fined 4,860 lei and had his driving rights suspended for 240 days, while the 59-year-old received a fine of 3,645 lei and had his driving rights suspended for 180 days. The action was carried out with the support of the General Inspectorate of Aviation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
