A truck transporting fruits was engulfed in flames on the A1 highway, in Hunedoara County, causing traffic to be blocked in the area.

The firefighters from the Deva Detachment responded quickly, mobilizing two fire trucks with water and foam, one first intervention vehicle, and one SMURD ambulance. Upon arrival of the crews, the fire was widespread throughout the vehicle. The driver managed to self-evacuate in time but suffered a panic attack and was assisted by paramedics. Road traffic was restricted on both lanes, and the firefighters continued to intervene to extinguish the fire and secure the area. Authorities warned drivers to avoid the affected area.
